Ford Ecosport: Four-Wheel Drive Systems / Removal and Installation - All-Wheel Drive (AWD) Module

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. NOTE: Position aside the RH side front seat

   Move the seat to back position.
   

1. Detach the floor from the main floor and position aside.

   1. Remove the 2 bolts from the front floor ffirst row seat and position aside.
      Torque: 35 lb.in (4 Nm)
   2. Disconnect the AWD relay module electrical connector.
      
   3. Lift the AWD module release tab (away from the AWD module bracket)
      
   4. slide the AWD module to the straight and remove.
      

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
