Ford Ecosport: Rear Disc Brake / Removal and Installation - Rear Brake Flexible Hose
Removal
All vehicles
NOTE:

Remove the wheel and tire.
Refer to: Wheel and Tire (204-04A Wheels and Tires, Removal and Installation).
Vehicles With: FWD

Disconnect the brake tube fitting.
Torque:
159 lb.in (18 Nm)
-
Remove the clip and detach the brake hose from the bracket.
Vehicles With: AWD
-
Detach the parking brake cable and the wheel speed sensor wiring from the bracket.

Disconnect the brake tube fitting.
Torque:
159 lb.in (18 Nm)
-
Remove the clip and detach the brake hose from the bracket.
-
Remove the bolt and detach the bracket.
Torque:
18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
All vehicles
-
Disconnect the brake hose fitting and remove the brake flexible hose.
Torque:
159 lb.in (18 Nm)
Installation
-
NOTICE:
Make sure the brake hose is not twisted when
installing the brake hose or damage to the brake flexible hose may
occur.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Bleed the brake system.
Refer to: Brake System Pressure Bleeding (206-00 Brake System - General Information, General Procedures).
