Draining

Follow the health and safety precautions.
Refer to: Health and Safety Precautions (100-00 General Information, Description and Operation).

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview (100-02 Jacking and Lifting, Description and Operation).

Remove the engine undershield.
-
NOTE:
Be prepared to collect escaping fluid.
Remove the PTU drain plug.
-
Install the PTU drain plug.
Torque:
29 lb.ft (39 Nm)
Filling
-
Remove the PTU fill plug.
-
NOTE:
Do not fill to the level of the fill plug, this will lead to filling excess oil.

Torque:
44 lb.ft (60 Nm)
