  • Low one-way clutch assembly damaged.

  • Harsh Stop/Start event
  • Verify Fluid level.

    If fluid level is ok, Clear any DTC , then carry out prime procedure: Verify TFT is greater than 100°F, prime the Transmission Fluid Auxiliary Pump. Using a diagnostic scan tool, Key ON, Engine OFF, command TRANS_PMP_CMD to 80% for 30 seconds. Carry out a road test until there is a stop/start event. If the restart is harsh, repeat the Transmission Fluid Auxiliary Pump prime procedure. Continue road test and evaluate each stop/start event. Repeat prime procedure until three consecutive normal stop/start events are achieved. Clear DTC s.

  • 2-3 Shift Hesitation After A Cold Soak
  • Verify Fluid level.

    If fluid level is okay, these hesitation events should be deemed a normal characteristic and do not cause any abnormal wear or durability concern. The hydraulic circuit can partially drain back during an extended engine off condition and could take a couple applications (2-3 shifts) to work any air out of the hydraulic circuit. No further work on the transmission should take place for that condition.
