DTC Fault Trigger Conditions

DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition
PCM P0068:00 MAP / MAF - Throttle Position Correlation: No Sub Type Information Sets during KOER self-test the when the PCM detects a comparison of the readings are not consistent with the calibrated load values. An intake air system leak at a hose, line or connection of any intake air system or PCV system component may cause this DTC to set. The PCM monitors a vehicle operation rationality check by comparing the TP sensor to the MAF sensor readings (if equipped) or to the MAP sensor readings (if equipped). Check for other Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). Diagnose all other Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) first.
PCM P0120:00 Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch 'A' Circuit: No Sub Type Information Sets when the PCM detects a concern with the TP signal. This concern exhibits a symptom of limited power.
PCM P0121:00 Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch 'A' Circuit Range/Performance: No Sub Type Information Sets when the PCM detects the TP sensor 1 circuit is out of range in either the closed or WOT modes. This concern exhibits a symptom of limited power.
PCM P0122:00 Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch 'A' Circuit Low: No Sub Type Information Sets when the PCM detects the TP 1 signal is too low. This concern exhibits a symptom of limited power. PCM P1124:00 Throttle Position Sensor 'A' Out Of Self Test Range: No Sub Type Information Sets when the PCM detects the TP1 or TP2 is greater than the expected value. During key KOEO and KOER self-tests, the PCM monitors the TP sensor inputs to determine if the TP1 and TP2 signals are less than an expected value. Repeat the self-test without applying the accelerator pedal. Make sure the floor mat is not interfering with the accelerator pedal. Diagnose any TP circuit Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) first.

Introduction

Normal Operation and Fault Conditions

Refer to the DTC Fault Trigger Conditions.

The informational Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) are the result of the failure mode effects management operating strategy that maintains limited vehicle function in the event of a PCM , harness or component concern.

Circuit Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) can be accompanied by the informational Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) and should be diagnosed first. Informational Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) without circuit Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) may or may not indicate the actual concern and should be diagnosed as a symptom.
