Ford Ecosport: Seatbelt Systems / Removal and Installation - Rear Seatbelt Retractor
Removal
NOTE:

Position the rear seat cushion to the full forward position.
-
Position the carpet aside to access the seatbelt anchor.
-
Remove the bolt and position the seatbelt anchor aside.
Torque:
30 lb.ft (40 Nm)

Remove the D-pillar trim panel.
Refer to: D-Pillar Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).

Remove the rear seat striker.
-
Remove the pin-type retainer.
-
Position the loadspace trim panel to access the bolt.
-
Remove the bolts.
Torque:
18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
-
Remove the rear seatbelt retractor.
-
Remove the bolt.
Torque:
30 lb.ft (40 Nm)
-
Remove the rear seatbelt retractor.
Installation
NOTE:
During installation, make sure the seatbelt webbing is not
twisted and the seatbelts and buckles are accessible to the occupants.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Check the seatbelt system for correct operation.
