Ford Ecosport: Front Suspension / Removal and Installation - Front Stabilizer Bar Bushing
Removal
NOTICE:
Suspension fasteners are critical parts that affect the
performance of vital components and systems. Failure of these fasteners
may result in major service expense. Use the same or equivalent parts if
replacement is necessary. Do not use a replacement part of lesser
quality or substitute design. Tighten fasteners as specified.

Remove the front stabilizer bar.
Refer to: Front Stabilizer Bar (204-01 Front Suspension, Removal and Installation).

NOTE:
Note the position of the component before removal.
On both sides.
Remove the stabilizer bar bushing bracket and bushing.
Installation

NOTE:
If replacing the stabilizer bar or the stabilizer
bar bushings, note the position of the stabilizer bar bushing brackets.
The bushing locator on the clamp offset must face inboard.
NOTE:
Make sure that the component is installed to the position noted before removal.
NOTE:
Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of foreign material.
NOTE:
The bushing locator bump on both bushings must face the RH side of the vehicle.
On both sides.
Install the front stabilizer bar brackets and bushings.

Install the front stabilizer bar.

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
