Connect

1. Release the fuel system pressure.
   Refer to: Fuel System Pressure Release (310-00C Fuel System - General Information - 2.0L Duratec-HE (129kW/175PS), General Procedures).
   

1. If equipped, remove the engine appearance cover.
   

1. Disconnect the quick release coupling.
   Refer to: Quick Release Coupling (310-00I) .
   

1. Connect the following items:
   Use Special Service Tool: 310-025-18  Test Hose for 310-025. , 310-025-19A  Test Hose for 310-025.

1. Connect the following items:
   Use Special Service Tool: 310-025-18  Test Hose for 310-025. , 310-025-19A  Test Hose for 310-025.
   Use the General Equipment: GV2323 Connector

1. Connect the following items:
   Use the General Equipment: GV2323 Connector
   Use the General Equipment: Pressure Vacuum Transducer (C219) Adapter

1. Connect the following items:
   Use the General Equipment: Pressure Vacuum Transducer (C407)
   Use the General Equipment: Pressure Vacuum Transducer (C219) Adapter

Check

1. Using the digital multi-meter function, measure the fuel system pressure.
   Use the General Equipment: Ford Diagnostic Equipment

Disconnect

1.   WARNING: Be prepared to collect escaping fluid.

   Release the fuel system pressure.
   

1. Disconnect the following items:
   Use the General Equipment: Pressure Vacuum Transducer (C407)
   Use the General Equipment: Pressure Vacuum Transducer (C219) Adapter

1. Disconnect the following items:
   Use the General Equipment: GV2323 Connector
   Use the General Equipment: Pressure Vacuum Transducer (C219) Adapter

1. Remove the special tools.
   Use Special Service Tool: 310-025-18  Test Hose for 310-025. , 310-025-19A  Test Hose for 310-025.
   Use the General Equipment: GV2323 Connector

1. Remove the special tools.
   Use Special Service Tool: 310-025-18  Test Hose for 310-025. , 310-025-19A  Test Hose for 310-025.

1. Connect the quick release coupling.
   Refer to: Quick Release Coupling (310-00I) .
   

1. If equipped, install the engine appearance cover.
